Dundee City Council’s Liberal Democrat Group has said it fears that vital Dundee bus services face the axe in just a few weeks, following the council’s failure to find alternative funding sources
West End councillors Fraser Macpherson and Michael Crichton have today expressed their deep concern at Police Scotland proposals to close the Ryehill Police Station in Pennycook Lane in their ward area and other proposed closures in Dundee.
Next Monday – 22nd January – Liberal Democrats on Dundee City Council will seek to scrutiny of police and fire services in Dundee which was reduced last year by the council’s SNP administration.

Speaking ahead of a debate in the Scottish Parliament on preventing violence against women and girls, Scottish Liberal Democrat justice spokesperson Yi-pei Chou Turvey has called on the government to finally implement promised protections.
