Dundee Liberal Democrats back "End Child Poverty Month"

Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Thursday 26th October) made clear their support for the End Child Poverty Campaign 'month of action' which runs until 20th November - Universal Children's Day.
Dundee Liberal Democrat councillor for Strathmartine Ward, Cllr Helen Dick, said, "Here in Dundee, many families are forced to live on benefits or low incomes. Children deserve the very best opportunities to thrive, learn and succeed. Poverty can hold children back and we must do everything we can to reduce the incidence of families living on or below the poverty line."
