Dundee LibDems welcome the Big Weekend to Dundee!

On the eve of the Radio 1 Big Weekend coming to Dundee's Camperdown Park, Dundee Liberal Democrats have wished the event every success and praised the BBC's choice of venue for this huge music festival.
The event brings together 30,000 people for the biggest free music festival in the UK. Amongst those playing are Snow Patrol, Muse, Keane, Pink, Sugababes, Editors, Razorlight,Primal Scream, Bloc Party, Dirty Pretty Things, Zutons, and Kooks.
"Its great for the City that the Big Weekend is coming to Dundee tomorrow," said Cllr Fraser Macpherson, LibDem Council Group Leader in Dundee.
Local Liberal Democrats also said they were pleased that the BBC was taking action to combat internet ticket touts.
