Chris Hall says SNP on road to nowhere

Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Sunday 18th March) highlighted the Scottish LibDem campaign poster - "SNP's Road to Nowhere" - launched by Tavish Scott MSP today.

It uses the SNP's symbol to demonstrate their increasingly desperate flip-flops as they seek to distance themselves from separation, which is opposed by a significant majority of people in Scotland.

Tavish said, "The SNP are trying to soften up their separatist rhetoric a little more with every passing day. It's an old trick. Over the years they have flip-flopped, u-turned and zigzagged.

"From now until the 3rd of May they will try to give the impression that separation is only a distant ideal, rather than the main reason for their existence.

"But disguises and diversions are not going to hide their true aim.

"The SNP have made it plain that separation is first, last and everything.

"They have made the separation their single key policy. They will always put breaking up the UK before health, education and crime."

Locally, here in Dundee, LibDem spokesperson Chris Hall said, "The Scottish Liberal Democrats have a positive vision for Scotland - the SNP are stuck in the rhetoric of the past."
